Patrick Hayes Compliance Officer
Blueprint is on a mission to ‘win together,’ and that doesn’t happen without partnership – with financial advisors, with external firms that have specialized expertise, and among the functional areas of the business. Ultimately, Blueprint is about elevating the services its clients have traditionally received, and having strong compliance is a natural extension of that.
As Compliance Officer, Patrick’s “let’s find a way” approach to addressing new questions and changes in the asset management industry directly contributes to the ability of Blueprint Investment Partners to be an uncommonly great partner to financial advisors. Another asset is his experience working with a broad array of financial services firms as an outsourced compliance partner due to his position as Partner and Chair of Investment Management at Calfee, Halter & Griswold.
He has been supporting Blueprint Investment Partners with compliance and legal matters since 2017, but his legal career began in 2008 and he became exclusively focused in financial services in 2013.
In 2020, Patrick launched The Securities Compliance Podcast, which is a personal master class for securities legal and compliance professionals that’s co-sponsored by Calfee law firm and the National Society of Compliance Professionals.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame and Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Patrick lives in Cincinnati, OH, with his wife and three daughters. Outside of the podcast, he enjoys cycling, swimming, traveling, reading, and watching college football.
