Greg Gerhartz Strategy Consultant
I believe human nature, particularly our emotions, run the stock market – not reason, not economics, and certainly not logic. Since human nature doesn't change easily, neither does the stock market. The faces and technology change, but not the market itself. Therefore, I think financial advisors – and ultimately their clients – benefit tremendously from using repeatable strategies that help separate emotions from investing decisions.
Greg is responsible for connecting financial advisors to solutions that can optimize investment strategies for their end clients and the overall management of their practices.
He brought more than 20 years of financial services industry experience when he joined the team in 2024, after being drawn to Blueprint Investment Partners due to the firm’s promise to be an uncommonly great partner to financial advisors.
Greg takes his responsibility to be a partner to financial advisors seriously. In addition to assisting with selecting risk-managed investment strategies, he supports advisors with their client service and marketing efforts by connecting them to collateral and resources.
While relationship management is at the forefront of Greg’s day-to-day to-do list, he also:
- Collaborates with the Marketing Team to ensure clients have timely access to white labeled resources that help with prospecting and client service
- Provides client support that sets Blueprint Investment Partners apart as an advisor’s partner, not just another asset manager
- Sets the standard for extraordinary service and communication from the first interaction with new financial advisor partners
- Works with advisors to help them understand how the firm’s systematic investing strategies use straightforward and repeatable rules that can be explained to end clients in plain English, naturally adapt to various market environments, and provide tax-friendly outcomes
Prior to joining Blueprint Investment Partners, Greg served as an Advisor Consultant for Long Short Advisors, where he covered the RIA, independent, and wirehouse channels throughout the country. He accumulated robust knowledge of the role liquid alternatives can play in client portfolios from previous roles at LoCorr Funds and AXS Investments/Equinox Funds.
He also previously was an ETF Specialist at Black Rock/iShares and a Regional Advisor Consultant at OppenheimerFunds.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from Stockton University in Pomona, NJ. While studying at Stockton, Greg was a member of the lacrosse team.
Outside of the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They love to travel together as a family. In addition to the title of “Dad,” Greg has earned the title of “Coach” for his children’s basketball and lacrosse teams.
