Nicole Hands President
Just like data is the fuel behind systematic investing, it also should be the foundation for resource allocation decisions across the business, from what solutions we build for financial advisors to where we invest time and dollars for marketing. Asset managers and advisors should be highly attuned to their key metrics to regularly rebalance, adding time or dollars where tactics are fruitful, and pulling back on efforts that are falling flat.
Nicole joined the Blueprint Investment Partners team in 2020 as Director of Marketing, and over five years her curiosity and drive to improve cross-functional processes pulled her beyond a marketing role. She was tapped to lead several firm-wide initiatives and built fluency across the business, which set up her promotion to President in 2026.
As President, Nicole helps Blueprint Investment Partners make good on its promise to be an uncommonly great partner to financial advisors by evaluating and adapting the firm’s service offering to meet the needs of the market, whether that be via specific investment strategies or practice management solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked in financial services marketing and communications roles.
She oversaw digital marketing for Heartland Advisors, a boutique asset manager in Milwaukee, WI. During this time, she built and directed the firm’s first social media strategy, which was recognized with an industry award for the best advisor-focused social media campaign. She also led a website redesign that launched one of the first responsively designed sites in the asset management space.
After Heartland, Nicole led marketing for two New York City based companies:
- Caliber Corporate Advisers, a strategic marketing communications agency focused in financial services and technology
- The Financial Revolutionist, a fintech media and intelligence company
Nicole earned a bachelor’s from Ripon College, a small liberal arts school in Ripon, Wisconsin.
She’s rarely comfortable settling for status quo, deliberately setting goals for continuous improvement. This approach is evident in her professional life, as well as in how she seeks opportunities to challenge herself on backpacking trips with her husband or while training for new personal bests in Olympic weightlifting.
