NYSE Closing Bell Celebrates Blueprint Chesapeake Multi-Asset Trend ETF

August 20, 2024

Blueprint Chesapeake at Bell Ringing

To honor the occasion of the 1-year anniversary of the Blueprint Chesapeake Multi-Asset Trend ETF (ticker: TFPN), the New York Stock Exchange invited Portfolio Managers Jerry Parker and Jon Robinson to ring The Closing Bell® August 9. TFPN is sub-advised by two partners: Blueprint Fund Management (an asset management firm that designs, distributes and manages systematic, process-driven, and transparent investment strategies for financial advisors) and Chesapeake Capital Corporation (an innovative provider of systematic alternative investment solutions that was founded by Parker, who is a legendary Turtle Trader). TFPN seeks capital appreciation by trend following as many as 500 securities, futures, and forward contracts across four macro asset classes, both long and short. The ETF’s massive global diversification and long/short flexibility can adapt during all market cycles.

“This occasion was a tremendous opportunity to celebrate partnership: between TFPN and the NYSE, between Blueprint and Chesapeake, and between our firms and the financial advisors we serve,” says Robinson, Blueprint CEO and Co-Founder and TFPN Portfolio Manager. “The Closing Bell coincided with our 1-year anniversary of this next-generation liquid alt, as well as TFPN’s steady AUM growth, making the afternoon even more of a celebration for our teams.”

For The Closing Bell®, Parker and Robinson were joined by their colleagues, family, friends, and other supporters of TFPN.

While TFPN’s strategy was first packaged as an ETF with its launch in July of 2023, the underlying strategy began trading in 1994 as a limited partnership.

“The launch of TFPN expanded the accessibility of our trend-following principles through an ETF vehicle,” says Parker, Chesapeake Chairman and CEO and TFPN Portfolio Manager. “During the last year, we’ve seen more and more advisors opt to use TFPN as a complement or replacement to other liquid alt strategies, such as managed futures and hedged equity. Unlike many traditional managed futures strategies, TFPN is designed to provide pure trend following with no style drift, avoid over-fitting or over-optimizing, and remove emotion from the decision-making process.”

TFPN’s total expense ratio is 1.10%.
